Signing Doctors?

Postby Neal » Thu Mar 30, 2017 2:10 pm

Since my Doctor retired last year I am finding it near impossible to find one to sign. Any doctors that do
seem to be associated with big business and insist you bind your self to their LP's. Big doctor prices big business big prices?
Looks like being legal for ten years and growing for myself I am back to being a criminal.
What a world.

Go to one of the health centres that have their own bank of doctors, it's free. Sure they send you to their recommended. LPs but you can switch or use a dispensary.

Sure, try Bodystream. They ask for a doctor's referral, but if you can't get one and particularly if you were previously licensed, they'll take you. There is no charge.

Neal I suppose you were part of the Supreme Court injunction that allowed us to continue to grow or use a designated grower and are technically still licensed under the MMAR. The program that came out end of August last year, allows for growing your own or getting a DPPL to grow for you. The plant numbers are calculated same as MMAR when they announced it and talk about it they use the language a minimal number of plants but that is just HC speak. Where are you located as I may be able to help you find a doctor, all you need is a medical document which no longer requires you to have any type of medical condition the doctor does not even list one. I have some connections on LinkedIn that are willing to prescribe cannabis but one just started a new company but I have lots of marijuana connections.

What I don't understand is how non bud is sold by LPs since it's by the gram?

Yepper, I believe I am still covered under the MMAR. Just preparing for the future by trying to get on board with the newest program. My GP of forty years retired last September and when your old it's tough to get another. Really tough! So even getting a referral to one of these clinics is near impossible. Just spent four hours sitting in a walk in clinic filled with snot spewing kids to get blood pressure meds renewed. ( I love kids. Have a few kids and grandchildren myself, just don't care for snot spewing ones) So no doctor in a walk, in who doesn't know me from Adam, is going to refer me.
Anyway, I am east of Toronto close to Oshawa.

Thanks schizo1988!

When your doctor retired didn't anyone take over his practice. If you have been licenced for this long it should help, do you mind my asking your medical condition as for my gp to sign my b2 I needed a specialist. I will check with some of my connections to try and find a doctor to sign, I will check with Mike, actually it's Mike Hart MD, he's located in London and just opened a new business but he used to be a Marijuana for Trauma guy, and was head of a provincial organization, he was also I think the first doctor to prescribe using telemedicine. He will certainly know someone or possibly he could see you In London I will message him. It is probably best for you to pm me as we can discuss more details in private number of grams etc, I follow Ontario First Responders with PTSD, never thought I would have so many cops as connections, I have the RCMP National Security Public Engagement Coordinator, a Sgt. with the ATF, lots of Sgts we will figure something out

I have to get HC to issue me a new copy of my old expired license as it's been in my wallet since may 2013, but all they can do is reprint your old one, and up until the most recent program that alllows growing you couldn't make any changes to your license, you move you lose, I have to start emailing requests to them soon anyway, what pissed me off is I wasn't allowed to have any input through Conroy as I wasn't growing but whose Rights were being violated mine as a patient to have someone grow for me, or my growers Rights to grow for me, I was only the patient but I'm connected to many involved in the lawsuit but I am not well and can't keep up as LinkedIn is work, but I have great connections and have no idea what you even see if you visit my page, but I am drawing traffic but the free version is limiting as it doesn't always tell you who it was I had another someone from the RCMP visited or someone with the title this just pay to find out, but I post quite a bit, and even likes People see Paul D'Arcy Mental Health and Addictions Rights Advocate and I am working with the armed forces, I am as close to the top as you can get but I am hoping to get to the top but I can communicate through others as I share a few 1st degree connections with General Vance the head of the whole Military but we have a stupid system as he reports to the Commander in Cheif but that's the Queen, but I know Michael Blais CD the founder of Canadian Veterans Advocacy and a 6 gram a day medical marijuana user, and Wayne who founded Wounded Warriors I have even spoken to on the phone, and I have been messaging sylvan his name was connected with this mess as well, they used to cover up,to,10 grams a day, but are cutting it to 3 and no more than $8.50 a gram but it's costing them a fortune but they say it's not about that and quote HC stupid nobody needs more than 3 and this 150 gram thing which I don't understand and for me to get on a plane right now they have to call one of those mystery secret numbers to verify my license is covered under the injunction and if I can only carry 150 grams it would limit how long I could go anywhere.
